Claire is trendy and youthful, often coming off as 18 or 19 instead of her 22 nearing 23 so fast homg; with a slender short build and a lack of musculature, her curvy body and slightly baggy clothes belies an ability to cleave your head open with an axe twice your weight. She's usually make-up-less but if she's wearing it it's in a sultry, teacher-by-night style that shows she's pretty savvy on all accounts.

Personality Summary: Claire is, indeed, as calm as her brother, but within this calm and nerdy woman also lies the ability to cut through the crap and get to the bottom line. Those she deals with at the piers of Alberta respect her for her no-nonsense approach to bargaining and any men or women she encounters along her way are often put off by her honest renderings of their beings. "I'm sorry, but you look like you couldn't plan your way out of a paper bag." I something she might say without much provocation. She doesn't mean it meanly, either - simply, Claire is so intellectual she has intellectualised most emotion and doesn't understand an insult from a honest truth.

She's not afraid of the truth either, and the truth about herself. She'll tell anyone she meets that there are a few flaws about her person - she's not tall enough, she's maybe too interested in books than people, she comes off as cold and distant sometimes. However, despite it all, she can manage a sweet and caring smile - something that most aren't quite sure what to make of it. Background

Claire never saw it as an issue that she had not an iota of artistic talent. A good reader, a good writer, but all perfunctory, ask her to make a creative sentence and she'd calmly decline, knowing the limit of her abilities. She was born to a high-class family in Juno; the second of two children, both equally precocious and intelligent, and despite her elder brothers abilities as a Sage, understood the limits to herself. Claire knew she wasn't the most easy to communciate with - in casual situations, her lack of tact often caused issues with those around her, and she had a hard-time maintaining friends even in the standard preperatory schools. That's why when she turned thirteen and was offered a chance to go to the Sage academy like her brother, she politely refused.

She informed her parents that numbers were very concrete, and more importantly, honest, and so with this she went into merchanting. Now, she makes a killing as a merchant - trusted and respected, she still adores her elder brother and keeps in contact with her family. Her practical nature continues to show, as even through her younger days and her training in accounting, when things that seemed frivolous or misplaced would arrive she'd casually brush it off.
